Ellen White described grace an 'an attribute of God exercised toward undeserving human being. We did not seek after it, but it was sent in search of us' (The Ministry of Healing, p. 161). She was overwhelmed by the thought that God in His infinite love has extended grace to beings who are in rebellion against Him. Over and over she returned to this theme in her writings, always pointing to the cross of Christ as proof that divine grace knows no limits. This devotional has been produced under the direction of the trustees of the Ellen G. White Estate. In many cases, the reading for the day consists of a number of choice quotations grouped together as a composite statement. These quotations have been drawn from Ellen White books presently in circulation.
